Once again we apologize for the long delays in updates.
We've been busy over the past year working on a documentary about the 1990s hardcore band Indecision. Things are moving along well and most of the interviews are complete. We've also imported almost 70 hours of VHS footage that still remains to be combed through. We are aiming to complete this in the next 6 months. You can check out a teaser here.

We shot the final scenes for Counting to Infinity this past weekend and even with Tropical Storm Hannah knocking out a day of shooting, we still managed to get everything done. Thanks to all the crew and to all the actors for coming back and finishing everything. Editing has resumed on the new footage and is coming along well.

We just shot a video for the Connecticut based band, Wrench in the Works. We are in the process of editing the video and we should have it done and up on the website very soon. Editing continues on "Counting to Infinity" and it is really coming together well.
You can check out "Behind the Scenes - Day 1" here. Day 2 will be up soon.

“Counting to Infinity” is the story about characters from the scattered memories of writer Derek A. Morses's past troubled youth. The film is a coming of age story about a tight knit gang of friends growing up in Connecticut in the early 90's. This project intends to make audiences laugh, cry and to thought provoke all within each scene. Seth, the main character, is a character with whom we can all relate; he comes from a background of a broken marriage as well as a biological father whose role is few and far between. Seth is a creative entity with big dreams, who is willing to do anything to escape from his small town, and is looking to scratch the surface world. Seth confides in his friends for the family structure and is also willing to sacrifice anything including his freedom for his friends with a gang mentality “blood in, blood out” with ranks of commanders, sargents, street soldiers and peasents.

The story begins with a first person recount of Seth's life in Connecticut, and immediately switches to a past life account of the characters' story. Seth's family is portrayed as a seemingly normal family, until his Stepfather breaks into the conversation, as a daily drunk who is looking to get his Step-sons riled up. On top of this, Seth's brother who has just returned from Iraq, is a seemingly psychotic and depressed person, willing to lash out at anyone who crosses his path. Seth attempts to break away from this reality, to another, safer reality with his girlfriend Amy, who will give Seth whatever he wants, including a safe haven. Seth soon masterminds a scheme to escape the confines of the small town that he is locked in, and sets out to conquer the world with a D.I.Y. ethic and a criminal mind; and the three friends begin to set out on one of the most life changing and real aspects of existence they will ever encounter. "Counting to Infinity" is a story of independence and freedom, an original story with original writing, and filming, which will differ from any other indie films on the market today. “Counting to Infinity” intends to break out of the filming style of the average film, and intends to utilize original forms of filmmaking such utilizing new effects. Derek's All-Time Movie List: “Clockwork Orange” “Requiem for a Dream” “Back to the Future” “Donnie Darko” “Weird Science” “Natural Born Killers” “Basketball Diaries.”
